NURI SAKONG

Nuri Sakong (b. 1985) is a Korean-born artist and gallerist who lives and works between Norway and South Korea.
Drawing from Korean calligraphy and literature, her artistic practice articulates how materials and texture influence space and perception, shaping the way we experience our surroundings.
Her work often moves beyond the visual, creating tactile and sensory encounters that open a more inclusive way of engaging with art, particularly for people with visual impairments.

As the founder of Gallery Ethos in South Korea, Sakong builds on her artistic values, academic background, and lived experience to support fellow artists and engage with the broader community.
